Ashbourne Day Nurseries at Fenny Stratford

🐝 HAPPY WORLD BEE DAY! 🐝

On Tuesday at Ashbourne Day Nurseries at Fenny Stratford, we had a wonderful time celebrating World Bee Day! 🌼💛

The children were fully immersed in a variety of fun, hands-on activities. They absolutely loved exploring our vibrant sensory trays filled with colourful rice, using their hands to scoop, pour, and feel the different textures — a perfect way to engage their senses while learning about nature!

We also spent time looking at pictures of different types of bees, sparking lots of curiosity and conversation. Each child chose a bee to learn about and discovered some fascinating facts — like how the leafcutter bee carefully cuts pieces of leaves to build its own nest cells. 🌿🐝

To top it all off, the children got creative and painted their very own bumble bees, using bright colours and big imaginations. The results were as adorable as they were unique! 🖌️🐝
It was a truly joyful day filled with discovery, creativity, and a whole lot of buzzing fun! 💛

🐣✨ Easter Magic at Ashbourne Day Nurseries at Fenny Stratford! ✨🐣

Today, something truly special happened at our nursery that brought smiles, laughter, and a whole lot of excitement to our amazing team. In the spirit of Easter, our wonderful Nursery Manager secretly organised a surprise Easter Egg Hunt just for the staff! 🌸🍫

As the day went on, little clues began to appear, and before we knew it, the hunt was on! Eggs were hidden in the most unexpected corners of the nursery - behind books, under chairs, nestled among toys. Each one filled with sweet treats and surprises. But there was one egg that everyone had their eyes on… The Golden Egg, hidden ever so cleverly.

It was such a thoughtful gesture that reminded us all how important it is to pause, play, and appreciate the people we work with every day. A huge thank you to our incredible manager for going the extra mile to make this day unforgettable for our team. Moments like these make Ashbourne Fenny such a special place to be.

Day 5 - Oh my gosh! The elf thinks they are so funny drawing over the staff photos! That cheeky elf, I wonder what they will get up to tomorrow 💭
