One of the loveliest things about theatre week is this:

The phones disappear.

Students talk to each other.
Laugh together.
Help with costumes.
Practise together.
Share nerves and excitement together.

For a few hours, the outside world becomes much quieter.

And in its place…
real friendships and real experiences happen 💛

A member of the audience said:
“There are so many complaints about young people these days… but what I saw this weekend was a group of wonderful young people working together as a team.”

And honestly… she was right.

They supported each other.
Encouraged each other.
Worked hard together.
Celebrated together.

That’s the part people don’t always see behind a production.

There’s something very special about Mad About the Musicals week ✨

For many of our dancers, this show is a real Marron tradition.
The first costume.
The excitement backstage.
The nerves before the curtain opens.
The friendships, the laughter and the memories that stay with them for years 💛

Some of our older students once stood exactly where this little performer is standing now… and tomorrow another group of dancers will begin their own Mad About the Musicals story. ✨

Our tap exam results are in… and we couldn’t be more proud💛

From our youngest dancers taking their very first steps…
to those working at the top levels…

Every single one of them showed commitment, focus and courage.

Exams aren’t just about marks.
They’re about turning up, doing the work, and growing in confidence.

And that’s exactly what they did ✨

Our Company dancers are in for Spring Intensive this week —
a few days to focus, reset and spend time doing what they love.

No pressure.
Just time, space and hard work.

This week the studio is quiet.

Next week, it will look a little different.

Some of our dancers will be spending time in the studio
focusing on their training, building on what they already know
and taking the next steps in their journey.

And that’s just one part of what we do.

Because every dancer starts somewhere
and every dancer moves forward in their own time.

There isn’t one path.
There isn’t one pace.

Just steady progress, built over time 💛
