📦📦 WANTED CARDBORED BOXES!!!📦📦

One of our favourite things to do to end the school year at Little Birch is ‘Boxing Day’, we fill the preschool with empty boxes and let the fun unfold!

This year we are holding Boxing Day on Wednesday 17th July, if anyone has any large cardboard boxes they would like to donate get in touch!

We have a full time, permanent position available for an Early Years Practitioner with a passion for early years to join our team!

Little Birch Pre-School in Blandford St Mary are currently recruiting for an Early Years Practitioner with a full and relevant level 3 qualification to join our team. We are a committee supported, Ofsted ‘Good’ rated, charity setting for children aged 2 to 4 years.

We are looking for a practitioner with a positive outlook, who can create a warm and engaging learning environment with endless possibilities for children to reach their potential. We encourage the professional development of our staff and provide opportunities for further training.

If you are passionate about child development and working with children, have a good working knowledge of the EYFS and want to be part of a team with a progressive approach to early years, then we want to hear from you.

Our full time position is for 37.5 hours per week, on a term time only basis and inclusive of paid lunch breaks. We may consider reduced working hours for the right candidate.

Full time hours: Monday-Friday 08.30-16.00 ( with the possibility of additional breakfast club hours 07.30-08.30)

We need to say such a massive thank you to Mr Tough for his huge 12 hour bike ride to raise money for us to buy climbing equipment for our children, he has raised an amazing £1000 but there’s still time to donate if you would like to add to the total! We are so grateful, THANK YOU to everyone that has donated 💚

This weekend one of our parents will be completing a 12 hour bike ride to raise money to buy us some much needed climbing equipment for our pre-school. He is so close to reaching the £1000 target, if you are in a position to donate to his challenge we really would be so grateful!

💐🌷🌸🌺Florist Role Play 🌺🌸🌷💐

Our children have been really enjoying playing with some flowers we brought in over the last week, so to build on this, and because it’s Mother’s Day next week we have made them a florists role play area to explore further. We’ve added card making, money, price tags and order forms to encourage mark making, baskets and bags for our children that love to transport, and we can’t wait to see where this role play takes us throughout the week 💚
