Friends of Bryanston Music The Friends of Bryanston Music celebrates the opening of the new Tom Wheare Music School in October

The Friends of Bryanston Music brings together Bryanston musicians from across the generations and shines a spotlight on musical achievements throughout the school's history. Our aims are:

- To celebrate and support Bryanston music today.
- To build an archive of music and musicians connected with the school.
- To invite people to share memories of music at the school.
- To publicise concerts and music events featuring Old Bryanstonians.
- To expand opportunities for Bryanston musicians of the future by encouraging philanthropic support for scholarships, bursaries and specialist equipment in the new music school. Membership is free and open to all who value music and recognise its importance to Bryanston.

OB Ben Childs (far right), passionate about music as a child and continuing to play post Bryanston, has a music podcast with fellow Killbillies band mate. Their weekly 561 Music hosts a different artist and/or local Florida venue owner helping spread the word on the local music scene. Each episode contains guest interviews, gear reviews, live performances, and show recommendations. It was great to catch-up with Ben during the School's recent USA visit. You can follow Ben and if you're in Florida find a gig list on his band's webside https://killbillies.net/

Here's what Lighthouse Poole had to say: we're excited to be welcoming back our Principal Guest Conductor Mark Wigglesworth to the podium. He'll be joined by brilliant violinist Tobias Feldmann for Brahms' mighty Violin Concerto 🎻✨

Mark Wigglesworth conducts a special symphonic reamagining of Wagner's opera about doomed love pluse Brahms' Violin Concerto.
