The Unseen Photographs of Jethro Lyne (H '90) opens at Messums West in Tisbury on 5 September.
From the Dorset plains to the French Alps, the piers of Bournemouth, London’s waterways & Museums, British Sculpture, Welsh Architecture, Sydney Harbour, Pisa, Florence and Barcelona, these images reveal Jethro’s instinctive understanding of light. Every photograph was taken between 2016 and 2020, the final four years leading up to Jethro’s untimely death. And, this exhibition is an homage to the man who devoted himself to capturing the light during this chapter of his life. https://www.messums.org/exhibitions/jethro-lyne/

It was wonderful to welcome more than 150 guests to Henley last week for our annual Henley Royal Regatta gathering. Buffaloes, OBs, parents, staff and pupils enjoyed a delicious lunch, celebrating the Bryanston community together.

A special thank you to the Bryanston Catering team for their exceptional hospitality. We captured some fantastic moments from the day, which can now be viewed on our Beyond Bryanston platform. www.beyondbryanston.co.uk

As we look forward to Speech Day tomorrow, we hope for a sunnier day than that of 1964 when the heavens opened on a packed Greek Theatre. It is clear that some were more prepared than others!

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Titus Edge as the first Executive Head of Bryanston, joining us in January 2027 and taking over from current Head, Richard Jones.

Titus brings almost 30 years of leadership experience in independent schools across the UK and overseas. For the past six years, he's been Headmaster of St Paul's School in São Paulo, one of the world's leading British international schools.

His journey in education began at City of London School for Boys, followed by Head of History at Dulwich College, before moving to Gordonstoun as Deputy Head and then Head.

Titus is married to Marina, and they have three grown-up children. The family also has longstanding ties to Bryanston and our local community.

We can't wait to welcome Titus to the Bryanston family.
