What a wonderful day welcoming back OBs who left in 1986 and earlier.
From drinks in Cowley and lunch in the dining hall to tours led by current pupils, it was a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with old friends and see Bryanston today.
A special moment came when everyone sang Happy Birthday to Colin Green ahead of his 91st birthday.

In a letter to The Times, Dec 1926 the founding principles for a new school, proposed to open in 'one of the Southern counties', were laid out.

It was suggested that, 'Regular physical exercise or education on the soundest scientific lines will be compulsory...the games will be: Winter - Rugby football, hockey, squash rackets and fives; Summer - cricket, tennis, rowing and swimming.'

Rugby began at once, seen here during Bryanston's very first term, early 1928.

Calling OBs and members of the Beyond Bryanston community who study or work in Fashion, Photography, Branding and Creative Industries.

On Friday 9 October at 6.00pm, Bryanston will be hosting what promises to be a fantastic celebration of creativity, entrepreneurship and fashion.

This event is led by pupils and will showcase the work of young designers, photographers, creative thinkers and aspiring fashion entrepreneurs and we would like to extend this invitation to the wider Beyond Bryanston community.

For one night only:

* Cowley will be transformed into a fashion runway
* Grosvenor will become a pop-up photography studio
* Industry talks and networking will bring pupils, parents, OBs and the wider Bryanston community together under the Dome

There will also be pop-up stalls for any pupils, OBs, or members of the wider community to sell their own collections and products. We only ask that you have your own digital payment system and that you contribute 10% of your sales to the Bryanston Foundation.

There will be opportunities to meet pupils and fellow OBs, share career insights, view their work and help inspire the next generations of creative talent.

The Unseen Photographs of Jethro Lyne (H '90) opens at Messums West in Tisbury on 5 September.
From the Dorset plains to the French Alps, the piers of Bournemouth, London’s waterways & Museums, British Sculpture, Welsh Architecture, Sydney Harbour, Pisa, Florence and Barcelona, these images reveal Jethro’s instinctive understanding of light. Every photograph was taken between 2016 and 2020, the final four years leading up to Jethro’s untimely death. And, this exhibition is an homage to the man who devoted himself to capturing the light during this chapter of his life. https://www.messums.org/exhibitions/jethro-lyne/
