STA Level 3 Award in Education and Training. Feb 2026.
Essential preparation course for any aspiring STA tutors.

Our next supported presentation is in February - but why join a supported course when self-study costs a bit less?

Well, you can certainly complete this qualification on a self-study basis, and plenty of people do as it suits their learning ansd working style - and we can start you off on that journey.

However, for some people, working with a tutor and being able to ask questions and share ideas with others in the group creates a more effective learning environment.

What does the qualification cover?

STA Level 3 Award in Education and Training.
Education and Training is an introductory teaching qualification and can be taken by individuals who are not currently within a teaching role as there is no practice requirement other than microteaching.

The qualification makes it ideal for those that aspire to become teachers, or those who have only just started in the profession. The role of a teacher in the education and training sector is a varied one, it involves planning, delivering and evaluating sessions that meet the needs of the learners and the requirements of the course. It includes record keeping and giving feedback.
