Good Morning Reverbers,
I'm so sorry to have to say this, but unfortunately Reverb won't be able to open until we can have a physical venue to start at. I've been reviewing the course over the past 2 weeks, and for this to be what it originally set out to be, online wouldn't cut it. I want you to get the full experience of what my vision of Reverb was. And don't worry, this will happen, when though? I am unsure of. I understand that it feels like a lack of communication, but in all honesty, I don't have a clue what is happening with the current world climate, so I am unable to give you any updates on the opening. Trust me, I am very frustrated as Reverb had the intention to be something that wasn't anywhere else in Wales. So this is not the end, but we will be opening our doors in a physical venue as soon as we can.Thank you so much to everyone that said they would do it online. Trust me, it will be worth the wait

Good Morning Reverbers,

Long time no see. I hope you are all doing well and have been keeping up doing what you love during this very strange time.
Currently, finding a venue that can actually open for this has been stressful and I haven't had much luck. However, there's a lot to Reverb that we can start doing online. Reverb was originally designed to focus on your artistry, performance and the music industry side, that people don't normally like to talk about.

What we can start doing online is the artistry, where we start developing your artist image, and your knowledge of the Music Industry. This will be done on Zoom for the time being. In the meantime, I will continue to look for venues for this to open. But the online sessions will begin from Wednesday 23rd September 2020 from 6pm. More information will be sent across closer to the time.

If you are interested in taking part, classes will be £5 and will go for 1 hour. But when we get into an actual venue, we will have a 1 hour and 30 minute session. Prices will be released when the venue is confirmed.

I’m raffling a 1 hour Masterclass with myself for singing. The winner can choose to do this through Zoom or wait until the lockdown is over for a face to face lesson.

Good morning students🎶

I wanted to let you all know that I will be putting a newsletter together this evening and sending it out to all students. I want you to know what is happening with lessons, how you can continue to practice at home and a few exercises explained.

For any students that are for Reverb, I will be sending one out to you guys too. This will include what we are hoping to do as soon as this lockdown lifts, and a task that you can get started on at home in the meanwhile.

Online lessons are currently going great. Students have been working hard to ensure that they get the most out of their online lessons and I am very proud of them. Thank you for helping to make this experience as smooth as possible.

Again, the videos for techniques will be filmed over the next two days. These will be uploaded into Google Drive and the link will be shared with you all. Message me if there are any techniques you would like to cover.

If you wanted to try an online lesson, you can contact me and we can start. I understand some students prefer it face to face, and that is totally fine.

I am a singing teacher from Oakdale. I have attended both the BRIT School in London and The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.

Due to the COVID19 Pandemic, I will be offering 45 minute singing lessons now online via Skype or Zoom. These lessons will be £18 for 45 minutes, which can be transferred via bank or PayPal.

During the lessons, we will cover Vocal Techniques (vocal warm ups, how to use your vocal cords correctly)
Vocal features (vibrato, phrasing, breath control)
Vocal placement (using the pharynx and larynx correctly)
Correcting bad vocal habits (illuminating wobbles and pitching issues)
Building vocal stamina and reducing fatigue
Working on an engaging performance of songs and delivery.
Expanding repertoire, and versatility
Developing vocal range.

"Alice Mee-Bishop is head of Reverb Vocal/Music School and teacher at The Rock Project Cardiff. She has trained at The BRIT School (Home to Adele, Jessie J, Tom Holland, Amy Winehouse) and The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. She has multiple achievements gaining her ABRSM Grade 8 singing Distinction, ABRSM Grade 5 Music Theory Distinction and BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma Triple Distinction Star.
Her performance experience is vast. She was the warm up act for Gary Barlow at The London Palladium, Pride Cymru Main Stage act, BBC Radio features and support act for X Factor Lloyd Macey."

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to announce that the opening of Reverb Vocal Music School that was originally meant to happen tomorrow has been postponed until further notice.

This is linked to the Corona Virus and the students health is our main priority. We won't be open until we have clarity on the Corona Virus position.

Reverb Junior

We have no application process for Reverb Junior. This is an open space for 7-9 year olds that want to enjoy singing. We help their performance, making singing techniques fun and helping with songwriting tasks.
We open on Saturday 14th March at 11:00-12:00.

Introductory price till July of £5 per class.
Classes are held at Fleur Institute.
