These assessments lead to recommendations for assistive technology; ; specialist software; ergonomic equipment; study aids; training; specialist strategies and support. This is usually provided to Higher Education students via the Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) funding. In October 2017 we moved in to our new offices on Church St in Blackpool. The location provides improved convenience for our clients, being within only a few hundred metres of Blackpool town centre and Blackpool & The Fylde College's University Campus. Most major bus services in Blackpool pass directly by our new premises. For clients visiting from outside of the Blackpool area, we are easily accessible from the M55 motorway. We are conveniently located on the A583, which is the main road between the M55 motorway and Blackpool town centre. We are very close to Blackpool North railway station, for clients travelling by rail.
