Year 5 had a wonderful day in the Viking village of Mere Tun. They have been foraging, weaving, thatching and had lessons in Viking armoury before returning to Blawick (Blackpool).

Year 4 had an amazing time learning new skills in their Circus workshop yesterday!

Year 3 attending our club after school on Tuesday absolutely loved their Fit to Glow Dodgeball session!
The children were engaged, active and had lots of fun while developing their teamwork and fitness skills. It was fantastic to see so many smiles and so much enthusiasm each week.
A huge thank you to Blackpool FC Community Trust for delivering such an energetic and enjoyable session!

🌿 Lenten Pilgrimage with UKS2 Visitors 🌿
It was wonderful to welcome the UKS2 pupils from St John Vianney Catholic Primary School in The Parish of Guardian Angels, Blackpool as they undertook their Lenten pilgrimage around the three churches in our parish.
Our Year 6 pupils joined SJV in church, where Fr. Chris shared the rich history of our church - helping the children deepen their understanding of our parish community and its heritage.
Throughout the visit, the pupils reflected beautifully on the Lenten pillars of prayer, giving, and fasting, showing great warmth and hospitality as they welcomed our visitors. We were blessed to be part of SJV's pilgrimage!
A truly special morning of faith, learning, and togetherness. 💜✝️

✨ Lenten Liturgy – Year 2 ✨
Tomorrow morning at 9:00 AM, we look forward to welcoming the families of our Year 2 children as they lead us in our next Lenten liturgy.
A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful staff, pupils, and all families who joined us for our previous Reception, Year 1, Year 5, and Year 6 liturgies. The children have been truly reverent, prayerful, and reflective throughout this Lenten journey, and we are incredibly proud of them.
We hope to see many of you tomorrow as our Year 2 pupils share their beautiful reflections.

We’re excited to celebrate World Book Day next Thursday—one of our favourite days of the year! 🎉
To make the day extra special, we’re inviting all children to come to school dressed as their favourite book character. Whether it’s a brave hero, a magical creature, or a much‑loved classic character, we can’t wait to see everyone’s creativity shine! 🌟
There’s no need to buy anything new—homemade costumes and simple ideas are very welcome. The focus is on having fun and celebrating a love of reading! ❤️📖
