This morning, we held our very special End of Year Celebration Assembly, and it was the absolute perfect way to wrap up an incredible year! 🎉

We are so incredibly proud of all our children. They have worked so hard, shown immense resilience, and supported each other brilliantly. A massive congratulations to the children who were chosen for the following awards today:

This week, our Year 3 and Year 4 pupils have had a fantastic time participating in their French enrichment activities! 🍦🥖

The children had the wonderful opportunity to bring their classroom learning to life, using their French language skills in real-world role-play situations. They did an amazing job!

A huge merci beaucoup to Mademoiselle Sawyer for delivering these brilliant activities for the children to enjoy, and to Alan (Mr Williams) for generously sponsoring these events. We would also like to say a massive thank you to Mrs Bracegirdle and Mrs Hamilton for setting up the incredible ice cream parlour scene for the children to enjoy.

We had a very exciting morning here at Baines' Endowed! The wonderful Bella the Bear from Brian House Children's Hospice came to visit our children to say a big hello! 👋❤️

Her visit was the perfect countdown to our Teddy Bear’s Picnic TOMORROW! 🧺🥪

Don't forget that children can bring their favorite teddy to school tomorrow and enjoy a fun picnic lunch together. We are asking for a £1 donation via ParentPay to help raise vital funds for the incredible, life-changing work Brian House does for children and families in our community.

Exciting work is being completed on our school playground this week for the benefit of our pupils! Because parts of the yard are closed off, our drop-off and pick-up locations have changed for this week only, starting from this afternoon's pick-up (Tuesday 30th June). Please use the following doors for your children:

🚪 Reception & Year 1: Dropping off and picking up as normal
🚪 Year 2: Year 1 door
🚪 Year 3: Bridges door
🚪 Year 4 & 5: Main hall door
🚪 Year 6: Main office entrance

🌟 INTRODUCING: BAINES’ GOT TALENT! 🌟

Calling all singers, dancers, magicians, comedians, and entertainers! We are launching our very first Baines' Got Talent show, and auditions will be running all next week from Monday 22nd June to Friday 26th June.

This fantastic new event is entirely pupil-led and is being organised by some of our wonderful Year 5 pupils. 🎤✨

How to enter:
If your child would like to audition and showcase their talent, it is £1 to enter.

🛝 All funds raised from the entry fees will go directly toward improving our school playground!

It’s time to start practicing those acts this weekend. We can't wait to see what amazing talents our pupils have! 🌟🎸📣
