🌟 TEAM MEMBER OF THE MONTH – SEPTEMBER 2026 🌟

A huge congratulations to Cheryl, our Team Member of the Month for September! 🎉💐

Cheryl has truly gone above and beyond this month. Alongside her role as our Toddler 2 Room Leader, she has supported children and team members with transitions into Toddler 3, helped our new Baby Room Leader settle into their role, and stepped in wherever she has been needed across the nursery. 🌿✨

From covering kitchen duties and cooking for our children, to opening and closing the nursery, as well as giving up her own time to attend training courses outside of working hours, Cheryl has shown incredible commitment, flexibility and teamwork throughout the month. 💚

Cheryl, thank you for everything you do for our children, families, and the whole Meadow team. Your willingness to support others and always step in when needed is hugely appreciated. 💖

🌍 Little People, Big Kindness 💚

At MiChild Meadow, our Preschool children are exploring equality, friendship and what makes each of us special through the Think Equal programme. 🌿✨

Sharing stories including Me, Myself & I and Is There Anyone Like Me?, alongside creating their own mini me pictures, encourages children to recognise their strengths, celebrate differences and understand that everyone deserves kindness and respect. 🤝

These experiences bring British values to life through listening to each other, making choices, taking turns and understanding how our actions affect others. We are learning that every voice matters and that we all have a part to play in looking after each other and our world. 🌱

Through our MiChild curriculum, we are nurturing Confident Communicators who share their ideas, Independent Individuals who value their own identity and Self Aware Super Heroes who recognise feelings and show care for others. 🦸🏽

🍂 Little Hands, Big Autumn Discoveries! 🍂

Our Toddler 3 children at Meadow have been exploring pumpkins through a colourful invitation to play, investigating what is inside and creating their own process over product autumn artwork! 🧡

As Logical Learners, the children explored the pumpkins and seeds, discovering different textures and looking closely at what they could see. Our Confident Communicators spoke of "orange", “pumpkin”, “seeds”, "slime" and “scoop”, sharing their discoveries with friends and the team. 🌿✨

Comparing sizes and exploring the seeds encouraged our Marvellous Mathematicians, while painting and handling tools helped our Motivated Movers develop coordination and control. 🔢🖌️

With opportunities to choose colours, explore materials and follow their own ideas, our Independent Individuals enjoyed taking the lead in their learning. 🎨

🎉 Happy One Year Anniversary, Kaerllii! 🎉

Today we are celebrating Kaerllii’s one year anniversary at Meadow! 💚

Kaerllii has been a fantastic Nursery Practitioner, providing incredible SEND support in Preschool throughout the last academic year. Her patience, care and dedication helped children feel secure, included and confident in their learning. 🌿

Now in Toddler 3, Kaerllii is bringing her knowledge and experience of SEND to supporting her own key children, building trusting relationships and recognising each child’s individual strengths and needs. 🌟

Thank you, Kaerllii, for everything you do for our children, families and team. We are so pleased to have you as part of our Meadow family. 💖

📚 Superworm Comes to Life in Toddler 3! 🪱

A worm spotted in the mud kitchen sparked an adventure for our Toddler 3 children at Meadow. We brought Superworm outside, gathered around the book and looked closely at our wriggly visitor. As Confident Communicators, the children shared what they noticed and connected the story to something they could see for themselves. 🌿

The children were Logical Learners as they explored where worms live, and Motivated Movers as they handled mud and tools whilst investigating the mud kitchen. Their curiosity brought the story into their play, helping to grow a love of reading through a real experience. 💚

🧁 Preschool Bakers at Meadow! 👩‍🍳

Our Preschool children became bakers as they made homemade cupcakes together. They poured, stirred and shaped the mixture, strengthening their hand muscles and coordination as Motivated Movers. 🥣

Following the recipe, they noticed how the ingredients changed and predicted what would happen in the oven, showing their curiosity as Logical Learners. They counted ingredients, measured quantities and explored how much of each ingredient they needed as Marvellous Mathematicians. 🔢

The best part was seeing their cupcakes come out of the oven, ready to decorate and enjoy! 🧁✨

Our Snuffle Sneezing Station is helping children at Meadow learn what to do when they need to blow their nose. They are practising taking a tissue, wiping their nose, putting the tissue in the bin and washing their hands. 🌿

As children follow these steps, they are growing as Independent Individuals. Talking about germs and how we can help keep our friends well supports them as Confident Communicators and Self Aware Super Heroes. 💚

💦 Splish, Splash, Sing! 🎶🐳

Our babies enjoyed a wonderful water play experience while singing familiar nursery rhymes, including Row, Row, Row Your Boat, Three Little Ducks and our exciting shark song! 🦆🦈

The children explored pouring, scooping, splashing and moving the sea creatures through the water, strengthening their coordination and control as Motivated Movers. 💪💧

Through listening, joining in with actions, copying sounds and responding to familiar words, our babies developed as Confident Communicators. 🎵🗣️

The children made their own choices, explored the resources independently and confidently discovered what happened as they moved and poured the water, becoming wonderful Independent Individuals. 🌟

A joyful sensory experience filled with music, movement, curiosity and plenty of splashing at MiChild Meadow! 💚🌊

Today, we are delighted to celebrate Teresa’s amazing 15 year anniversary at Meadow 💐

Over the past 15 years, Teresa has shown incredible dedication, commitment and passion for supporting children, families and her colleagues. Her wealth of experience, caring nature and willingness to help others make her a truly valued member of our Meadow Nursery family. 💚

Teresa has played an important part in the lives of so many children, helping them to feel safe, happy and confident during their early years. The positive relationships she has built with families and colleagues reflect the care and pride she brings to her role every day. 🌿

Reaching 15 years of service is a fantastic achievement and we are incredibly grateful for everything Teresa has contributed to Meadow and MiChild throughout this time. ✨
