Always 💙💛🐝 a must read...

Last six hours of primary school,
Goodbye is getting near.
The sums and sentences all done,
The full stop day is here.

Last five hours of primary school,
Where everything's before.
The aims and games and crazes,
No one’s crazy for no more.

Last four hours of primary school,
Surrounded by a class,
Who'll scatter soon and not return,
When summer’s days have passed.

Last three hours of primary school,
One final lunchtime play.
Instead of chasing friends we try
to chase and catch the day.

Last two hours of primary school,
The clock hands blur and skid.
Signing shirts, remembering
the coolest things we did.

Last one hour of primary school,
With staff who understood.
And helped me see I could achieve,
Because they believed I could.

Last half hour of primary school,
The assembly we all dread.
We cannot sing, us Year 6 kings,
The crown slips from our head.

Last ever second of primary school.
The full stop rings in our ears.
But a thousand chapters left to write,
We must vacate our childhood site,
For time moves on and time is right,
To leave our wonder years.

Year 6, you will always be 💙💛🐝

🥹 Year 6 parents! Walk your child to school one last time tomorrow. Even if they don't want you to. Laugh about the sticks they used to collect or the paintings they so carefully carried. Reminisce about their sports days and how funny they were in their nativity. Tell them how proud you are of them and how excited you are to see them grow. Remember how little their hand was when you held it on the first day of Reception. Hold that hand again as you walk with them one last time. Parents, you've done a great job. 💙💛🐝

👑🎩💎 This week, Year 6 performed their end-of-year production - Beauty and the Beast! They stole the show with their fantastic acting, singing and confidence on stage, bringing this TALE AS OLD AS TIME to life. It was a truly ENCHANTING performance and we are so PROUD of every member of Year 6! 👑🎩💎

🌲🪨🧗‍♂️ Year 3 went to Go Ape and CLIMBED to new heights on the high obstacle course! They showed great courage as they SWUNG through the trees, ROSE to the occasion and tackled every challenge with confidence. It was a TREEmendous day full of adventure and teamwork! 🌲🪨🧗‍♂️

🚨🚔🪖 Preschool had a SIRENtastic visit from the local police as part of our topic, "Who Helps Us?". They learned about who the police are, what they wear, the different vehicles they use and the important ways they help keep us safe. It was an ARRESTing experience and the children loved asking questions and meeting our special visitors. 🚨🚔🪖
