Based from our children’s interests of animals, cars and dinosaurs we have made some home learning activity bags! Supporting our children to use their fine motor skills and hand eye coordination 💚🧡

This morning, myself and some of the staff team, joined our sister nurseries and senior team on embarking on some bespoke outdoor training, looking at the Potential of outdoor learning for our children.

During our morning we had the opportunity to look at the importance of our children accessing the outdoor environments in all weathers and the learning opportunities that are available for them to embrace, we spoke about the children have the opportunities to connect to nature, as well as how it can support the children's health and wellbeing.

Using our fine motor skills to build towers, turn pages in a book and explore our resources ✨ our toddlers and babies have been encouraging each other to explore all around their environment

Here comes the fire truck 🚒

We had a special visit from the fire brigade and got to use the hose, listen to the sirens and got to sit in front seat! The children enjoyed exploring all the the different parts of the truck and sharing their experiences with their friends ❤️

Science experiments🧪

We have been experimenting and exploring what happens to different materials when we mix different elements together! Our volcano erupted with bright green lava 🌋

Sometimes all you need is a good book 📖

Bumble bees 🐝

We have been looking at all the different types of bees! Reading books around different insects an what flowers bees like and we created our very own bumble bee masterpiece 💛

Our home baking jars have been delicious 🍪 some of our friends have been baking yummy cookies! I wonder what we will make next ✨
