A slightly different post from us today, but we want to tell you a little bit about someone very special 🧡

Our friend Susan Knowles is running the London Marathon next week in honour of her daughter, Olivia, who sadly passed away on February 12th after a courageous battle with acute myeloid leukaemia. Her journey since her diagnosis in November 2024 was one of pure inspiration, and she will forever be in our hearts.

Olivia was a young student of ours who very quickly realised she was far more interested in health, sport, and fitness than singing and dancing, or “prancing around,” as she called it! She went on to complete an Ironman, compete in cycling events, and inspire so many through her passion for health and helping others.

Even during her illness, Olivia was thinking of others, raising almost £10,000 to transform the chemotherapy space at Blackpool Victoria Hospital, now known as Liv’s Lounge, and even organising a Christmas party as a thank you for the incredible staff. She also set up the Olivia Knowles Foundation to fund research into acute myeloid leukaemia and other blood cancers and raised an additional £26,000 for the foundation.

In her honour, Susan is raising money for Anthony Nolan, continuing Olivia’s legacy of supporting others and vital cancer research.
