Fully qualified Ofsted Outstanding registered childminder. My hometown is Falkirk in Scotland, but I have lived in Blackpool for over 20 years.

I have been Ofsted Registered for over 18 years and enjoy every minute of running my own business Laura's Little Angels. I was delighted to receive an overall OUTSTANDING Ofsted report for the third time in July 2022(which is the highest you can get). I have achieved Outstanding in 2009,2016 and 2022. I love my job, as it gives me great pleasure in working with children and babies. I have been wor

king within the childcare sector most of my life, since being offered a permanent post from my school work experience job, in a nursery. I am a qualified child carer and my desire to professionalise, led me to further extend my knowledge into postnatal care, so I could provide a support system to new mother's and their babies. I can provide flexible hours of care including Term time only contracts and school holidays. I also offer a Pickup/Drop off service depending on times and location. I support and work with local teen parents, in returning to college. I also support children with additional needs and provide care for children who receive the 2 Year old funded place. I'm experienced with adults and children with SEN. I have worked with babies aged 0 months to children aged 12 years. Outings and visits are organized in term time and school holidays e.g. Zoo, parks, farms, beach, Sealife centre, indoor/outdoor play areas, museums and the Tower etc. I also attend toddler groups. I am following government guidelines in regards to covid 19 within the setting and on outings. We have a secure enclosed back garden, which is safe for the children to play in. I have a range of outdoor toys for all different ages including a sand pit, play house, slide, little tykes cube, sensory area, ride on cosy coupes, Garage play house, balancing beams, stepping stone area, chalk boards, large tyres and scooters etc. I can provide a wide variety of toys to meet the needs of each child, to suit their age and stage of development. My activities include art and crafts, baking, puzzles, painting, drawing, gloop, water play, sand play, play dough, aqua draw, clay modelling and much much more.

After building up my business Laura's Little Angels over the past 19 years, it is now time for me to close and move onto pastures new. I have had the pleasure of nurturing the most amazing little people through the years and remember the families fondly. Thank you to everyone who has supported me as I close the door for the very last time, with sadness at the end of an era.

Lots of highlights today. We got up close and personal feeding not only pigeons and ducks but a squirrel. We watched he/she collect the seeds and Bury them. We were also a bit excited that we managed to fly our kite on the beach today.

What a really wet day today. We have been for a play at Bounce play this morning. We had lots of fun climbing, bouncing and building.

We had our Annual visit to the pumpkin 🎃 patch at Bradshaws farm shop. We enjoyed wheelbarrow rides,exploring, and pumpkin searching.

We had a stroll along the prom prom prom and had a play date with our friends at Emma Richardsons childminding. Thanks for having us.

A fun packed day so far feeding the ducks/swans, playing on the park and making marks on the beach. We even played hungry hippos on the pier and won a prize.
