🔴 WHAT AN EVENING.
Tonight, we welcomed 300 prospective pupils and family members through the doors of South Shore Academy for our Open Evening.
And what an evening it was. ❤️
There was a fantastic atmosphere throughout the school as families explored our departments, met our staff, took part in activities and experienced South Shore for themselves.
But perhaps our proudest part of the evening was seeing our pupils represent their school.
They led tours, welcomed families, helped in classrooms, supported activities and performed poetry.
Our newly appointed Senior Prefect Team also took on their first official duty, speaking to prospective pupils and parents about their own experiences of South Shore. They spoke with confidence, honesty and real pride in their school. They did us proud.
A huge thank you to our teachers and wider staff team, who worked incredibly hard to make the evening such a success.
The feedback from families was incredibly positive, but most importantly, they had the opportunity to come through our doors and see South Shore for themselves.
To every family who joined us – thank you.
🔴 This is the NEW South Shore.
