That’s a wrap, time for a much needed break. See you all in September 🥰

Today was our end of term party celebrating the fact that no one’s leaving for school this year 🎉🎉

We had fun with playdough this morning whilst the rain poured, we managed to get out this afternoon and had fun using the puddles to make footprints on the pavement.

Today we tried a new soft play, would I return? As a childminder unfortunately not but as a mother 100%. It was lovely and clean with lots of exciting equipment for the children. As a childminder though with children of different ages I couldn’t be in both sections at the same time and the youngest was too small for the older section so didn’t feel I was able to supervise the children as well as I would like to. Safe to say everyone had great fun though and it’s a good job my daughter was there to help with supervision.

With the weather being so hit and miss today we finished off our castle. My personal verdict is it wasn’t as good as our ice cream truck, there wasn’t much on it for the children to practice colouring in the lines and structure was it was not very sturdy. The main question is though did the children enjoy it? And yes they absolutely did!

If I didn’t send these children home on a Friday tired then I wouldn’t be doing my job right. A full day outdoors…. Park, dodge ball in the garden ( so much laughter) and then a trip to the field to run wild!
