Pebbles Day Nursery

We had a great time visiting the library. We helped each other choose some new books and can't wait to get back to nursery to read them with our friends.

Wow what a busy few weeks we have had! Valentines Day, Pancake day, Chinese New Year, St David's Day and Holi. We have had so much fun celebrating with our friends!

T'was 7 nights before Christmas, when all through the house
Lots of things were stirring (there was no mouse!)
With the thought of who was coming, the children were giddy!
There was lots of things to do - it was sending us dizzy!

After the arrival of Bubbles the Elf to say 'Hello!'
It was then on to Glen Tanar Rest Home - who surprised us with a show!!!

A huge, huge thank you to everyone at Glen Tanar for inviting us along to say hello and a surprise greeting from Santa! We had a wonderful time and can't wait for you all to come visit us on Friday for Hot Chocolate and Mince Pies!

We had a fantastic time at our Christmas Party. Bubbles the Elf came to visit and brought everyone a present from Santa!

It was baby galore at the Blackpool Zoo yesterday! From Pebbles babies, to Orangutans and Elephants - there was so much to see!

Toddlers and Preschool joined in on the fun too!

"In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row and row,
That mark our place: and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly".

Our children have been learning about Remembrance Day this week and have been helping to decorate poppies in memory of the fallen, including all the pets too! 🌺

What do you do with left over Halloween pumpkins??
Take them to Wilbur of course!!

On Halloween afternoon, we went to visit all our friends at the Care Home down the road! We had so much fun making lots of pictures and even managed to squeeze in some sandwiches - it was a very tiring job after all! We would also like to thank Glen Tanar for our lovely Halloween gifts!!!

Our Pre-school and Toddlers had a lovely afternoon with all our families for a 'Stay and Play: Halloween Special'. There was lots of spoooky activities that everyone could get involved in!
We can't wait for the next one!! 🎃👻🎃

Some of our mummies came to visit the Baby Room today for a super spooky Halloween celebration! We had so much fun, even if it did get a little messy! Oops!

Today we celebrate 'Diwali' - The Festival of the Lights!

We explored lots of different patterns and colours and even had a little trip to Blackpool front to look at the lights there! We also listened to a little story too, all about Diwali and how it marks the start of the Hindu year!
