🌞🌙 You might have heard there’s a once in a lifetime solar eclipse tomorrow night!

A partial solar eclipse will be visible from Blackpool, with the Moon passing in front of the Sun and making it look like a little crescent 😎

🕕 The eclipse starts at around 6.12pm
🌑 Peak time: around 7.09pm
🌅 It will finish at around 8.03pm

It’s a brilliant opportunity to get children curious about space and the world around them. Why not use one of the recommended methods to make a viewer to see it (or use a colander!)

❗ Remember to stay safe: NEVER look directly at the Sun, even during an eclipse. Make sure you use proper solar eclipse viewing glasses or another safe indirect viewing method.

So lucky to have all of this on our doorstep 🌊 … It’s been a fab day out at the Show tots session and then the Showtown Museum 🤡
We’ve been exploring, learning, laughing, creating, communicating and trying so many new activities and experiences with the children today, not to mention all the exercise of the steps we’ve done 👣
