We are extremely delighted to
finally share some more spectacular news. Our AMAZING Target £10K students have been announced as a finalist for the BBC Radio Lancashire Make a Difference Award for Fundraisers of the Year.

On Saturday 12th September, 4 of us will represent the cohort at the Awards Ceremony which is being hosted at Lancaster Town Hall, where we will be crowned either Winners or Highly Commended.

This is more outstanding recognition for our amazing students, and their efforts to raise over £14'000 for local Blackpool Charities. Fingers crossed for the big day. Once again, huge well done to our amazing students for what you've achieved.

A fantastic night at the Student Awards evening. So wonderful to see our students recognised for their amazing efforts over the two years. Congratulations to Caitlyn for being recognised as the Protective Service student of the year. Cayden for being awarded the Sport, Tourism & Protective Service student of the year. Finally our amazing Target £10K team who won the special Social Action award for raising over £14'000 for local Blackpool charities. Thank you to the selected few who collected the team award on behalf of the whole group. Well done everyone.

Day 2 of our water based assessments here at Bibbys Farm in Chorley. Baking sunshine and no cooler place to be. The sweat is dripping off Paul and Steve's faces.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Hi all. I am really sorry but with the amber weather warning the walks will not be able to take place this week.

The Water activities will still take place as it is shaded and not as intense.

Lessons will be on as normal Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Water trip taking place Tuesday and Thursday as planned.

Here we have the amazing Jade Housley who has graduated from a London University.

Jade has achieved an incredible FIRST BSc (Hons) in Forensic Psychology, which included scoring an incredible 92 in her dissertation. Jade is such a hard working, incredible former student.

Jade has already been offered a place on the MSc course in Forensic Psychology in Greater Manchester.

Jade is a wonderful alumni student and often returns to college to help us promote our marketing events, helping to inspire the next generation of students.

Huge congratulations to you .housleyy we are so excited to see the next stages of your amazing journey.

Any current our former student looking to get into rugby, please consider joining . A friendly and welcoming club in Bispham with a great set of lads. Its also the corner club of UPS legend, Mr Paul Moran haha!

Come and study Uniformed Protective Services at . Yes, there is lots of work to do inside the classroom, but as you can see from this year, we do so much more outside the classroom.

It's been an incredible year for everyone, we help develop skills and get YOU career ready. We have so many success stories over the years, and we are extremely proud and fortunate to be able to be part of this truly amazing course.

Our final day of practice expeditions and we were having the toughest conditions of the entire week. It poured it down for the entire route.

Our students did exceptionally well mastering the dark arts of navigating with a map and compass. We lost trainers, food and a couple of legs, but the students were amazing throughout and never stopped having fun.

We even had time for a little water fight at the end. Great 3 days everyone, we'll done.

This week, our L6 students are taking part in their practice walks for their Expedition unit. A wet 10K walk around the Trough of Bowland with teacher supporting them to learn the dark arts of navigation with a map and compass. A beautiful day for it too, the rest of the week looks to be a lot wetter lol.
