Our final day of practice expeditions and we were having the toughest conditions of the entire week. It poured it down for the entire route.

Our students did exceptionally well mastering the dark arts of navigating with a map and compass. We lost trainers, food and a couple of legs, but the students were amazing throughout and never stopped having fun.

We even had time for a little water fight at the end. Great 3 days everyone, we'll done.

This week, our L6 students are taking part in their practice walks for their Expedition unit. A wet 10K walk around the Trough of Bowland with teacher supporting them to learn the dark arts of navigation with a map and compass. A beautiful day for it too, the rest of the week looks to be a lot wetter lol.

Wow, what an incredible night for our amazing U6 students. Being hosted to a Civic Reception at the Mayors Parlour in Blackpool to celebrate their Target £10K efforts.

It was a brilliant event and very fitting of their efforts. They self raised £12,767.14 through their events, and then our local MP topped it up to £14,000 with a kind donation to the students.

We are so proud of our students, and extremely grateful to our wonderful charities who also attended the event to help us celebrate the efforts of our students.

I'm sure they're area lots more media coverage to come, but here's a few too start us off.
