Highfurlong School

On Wednesday our bus drivers and passenger assistants joined us for brews and breakfast sandwiches in Canteen to say a huge thank you from Highfurlong.

Their kindness, patience, care and dedication ensure that our children and young people travel safely to and from school every day. Rain or shine, their commitment and support make such a difference to our families and school community.

WOW! What an emotional day it's been!

Today we said goodbye to some of our long‑term students, some who have been with us since they were just 2 years old!

What an incredible journey they’ve been on at Highfurlong, it was emotional for us to see them leave, but they were cheered out by all of their friends and family.

We had two wonderful Achievement Assemblies today, celebrating all the fantastic progress, effort and successes of our children and young people. Well done to everyone who received recognition – we are so proud of you! 👏

🌱🎭 Today we held our Summer Show of Jack and the Beanstalk! 🎭🌱
A huge thank you to The Blackpool Sixth Form College for allowing us to host our show in your fantastic theatre. It was a wonderful opportunity for our pupils to perform on a real stage.
Well done to all of our incredible pupils and staff for all of your hard work—you were absolutely amazing! 💙
