We are incredibly proud to announce that our school has officially been certified as a PLATINUM School for OPAL Play! 🏆🎉

This is a fantastic achievement and recognition of the amazing play opportunities our children enjoy every single day.

OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) is all about giving children the time, space and freedom to play creatively, imaginatively and actively outdoors — something that is more important now than ever before. Through play, children develop confidence, resilience, teamwork, problem-solving skills and so much more! 🌈🛝⚽🧱

A huge THANK YOU goes to Mrs Hilton, Mrs Bracegirdle, our dedicated Play Team and all of our wider staff for their enthusiasm, hard work and commitment in helping us create such an exciting and enriching play environment for our children. 💜

Little Superheroes Blackpool are excited to introduce their School Ready Superheroes sessions, starting 17th May at South Shore Methodist Church, running from 3:45–5:00pm. These fun and friendly sessions are designed for children starting Reception at Roseacre, Thames, and Armfield, along with their parents. It’s a great opportunity for little ones to build confidence, develop key skills for starting school, and make new friends—while parents can connect, share experiences, and support each other ahead of this big milestone. Booking is essential and spaces are limited. 🦸‍♀️🌟
