🍂 Little Adventures, BIG Learning at Thames! 🌿
Our Nursery and Preschool children have been making the most of the great outdoors, exploring, discovering and learning through exciting adventures! 🍁

Our Nursery children enjoyed an autumnal walk around our local park, spotting signs of the changing seasons before having fun on the play equipment. Meanwhile, our Preschool children hopped aboard the minibus for an exciting adventure to Park View! 🚌

At Thames, we believe some of the best learning happens beyond the classroom! From exploring nature to discovering our local community, we create wonderful opportunities for little minds to grow, develop confidence and make lasting memories. 💜

🌟 Come and grow with us! 🌟
We currently have spaces available in our Nursery and Preschool! Get in touch with our Nursery Manager, Hayley, to find out more or arrange a visit.

Year 4 turned into environmental scientists today as we investigated how natural disasters impact living things and their habitats.

Here is a peek into what we did:

🌊 Floods & Earthquakes: We watched simulations to see how rising water and shifting earth can reshape an ecosystem in seconds.

🔥 Wildfire Simulation: We mimicked a wildfire combined with high winds to observe firsthand how quickly fire can travel across a habitat!

The children asked incredible questions and showed fantastic critical thinking about how plants and animals adapt or rebuild after major environmental changes.

Our preschoolers had the best time getting hands-on in the Texture Kitchen this morning making their very own tea blends !

They put their motor skills to the test, squeezing, mixing, squashing and pouring !
