We had a brilliant time visiting UCLan yesterday where the students were able to find out information about HE study and conduct sessions in the TV and green screen studios as well as receiving a workshop on Creative Writing!

Jonah particularly impressed the University's media tutors with his natural flair for vision mixing with one of the staff commenting that it was like he had been doing it for years!

After too long away, the Oscars are back! Live, in person and celebrating the successes of dedicated, creative and passionate young filmmakers across lower and upper sixth years!

The nominee films will be posted and hosted on the Google Site found below so be sure to check them out whenever an update is announced!

First up, Single Camera Setup - the first project of the lower sixth year saw the students being asked to develop a new Netflix show and film the cold opening for the pilot episode. They did not dissapoint! So much so, there are 5 nominees! Well done to everyone nominated, there will be more to come throughout the year!
