Happy World Teachers' Day! 👨‍🏫 🎓 👩‍🏫

Black History Month starts today!

For a child living away from home, identity is not a topic. It's whether the right products are in the bathroom cupboard. Whether the food tastes like the food they grew up with. Whether the books on the shelf have anyone in them who looks like them. Whether the adults around them know how to do their hair properly, and ask if they don't.

Getting those things right is not a gesture. It's part of the care.

Outbound Care is recruiting an experienced leader to manage two established children’s residential homes in Blackpool. This is a senior role within a supportive, family-run organisation with Good and Outstanding Ofsted outcomes.

What we offer:
• £65k–£73k salary + Ofsted-linked bonus

Residential Childcare Worker

Salary: £27,504 to £29,319 (this includes sleep-ins)

£53 paid per sleep-ins completed

Overtime rate: £14.40 to £15.60

Bank Holiday rate: £18 to 19.50 per hour (Christmas day paid at double time

Rota Pattern: 3- week rolling rota, 1 day on shift and 2 days off shift.

At the end of 2024 we introduced Outbound’s employee’s employee of the year. Which allowed every single staff member the ability to vote for a colleague to be crowned employee of the year!!

We are pleased to announce the winner is Fairview’s very own Melissa Griffiths 👏

Melissa has been rewarded for her endless support and care for the girls at Fairview in County Durham 🫶🏼

Melissa is also expecting the arrival of her own child in the coming months 🤰🏽
