We have 2 female only construction courses starting in September!!!🔧 🔨 🪚🪛

Our intro to construction course is a fantastic way to try your hand at various trades in construction 💪 Suitable for beginners, this 9 week course will teach you the basics in plastering, tiling, brickwork and DIY giving you the skills to carry out projects at home, or to progress onto another course with us ⚒️🛠

We are now running a second course during the day to give more flexibility to our learners 🙂

Our evening class will be starting on Tuesday the 2nd September, 6-9pm for 9 weeks.

Our daytime class is starting on Thursday the 4th of September, 9.30-12.30 for 9 weeks.

If you're interested in starting a career in Construction, our Introduction to Construction course may be perfect for you! 🧱

Not only will it cover practical skills in bricklaying, plastering and tiling, but you will also receive an industry recognised CSCS Green Labourers Card. ✨

To apply for this course, you will need to be aged 19 or over, and unemployed or earning under £25,000. 🦺

We have some places available on our next level 1 City and guilds plastering course! Starting on the 4th of Sept, this is a 10 week course on Wednesday 9am-3pm.

This is a great course suitable for beginners and also for those with experience wanting to get qualified.

The course includes plastering theory, how to prepare walls for plastering, including wall repair work, different backgrounds and external rendering. It also includes drylining, which involves boarding walls and ceilings and forming corners. We also show you how to work out the area of a room, quantities of materials needed and how to work out estimates.

We have purpose built plastering bays and a friendly team of construction experts ready to teach all aspects of plastering.

6-9pm for 10 weeks.
There are several options for this course.
You can try your hand at various trades over the 10 weeks including drylining, plastering, tiling and brickwork ⚒️
Or you can can concentrate on 1 trade for 10 weeks, gaining more advanced skills in either plastering or tiling 🛠

This is a great course covering several trades such as plastering, tiling, brickwork, joinery, painting and decorating. You can focus on 1 trade for the 10 weeks or try a bit of everything.

We have some places available on our next level 1 City and guilds plastering course! Starting on the 7th of February, this is a 10 week course on Wednesday 9am-3pm.

This is a great course suitable for beginners and also for those with experience wanting to get qualified.

The course includes plastering theory, how to prepare walls for plastering including wall repair work, external rendering and silicone render and scratch coats. We then move onto plasterboarding which includes boarding walls and ceilings and forming corners. We also include how to work out the area of a room and quantities of materials needed.

We have purpose built plastering bays and a friendly team of construction experts ready to teach all aspects of plastering.
