Pirate costumes welcome!

Beautiful beginnings were happening last Friday when Taylor and Aaron held their handfasting ceremony at Blackpool Central Library, accompanied by their family and friends.
We were delighted that they chose to make us part of their story, and wish them every happiness as they start their new chapter together.
Congratulations to the happy couple! ❤️

🎸 Music fun with Imogen Evans Music this week!🎸

This summer Blackpool Libraries and Get it Loud in Libraries are hosting FOUR FREE ‘Read to the Beat!’ sessions for children 5-7 years and 8-11 years old as part of the Summer Reading Challenge 2026.
Children will have the opportunity to explore ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ and 'Diary of a Wimpy Kid' with accomplished musician Imogen Evans Music and the GILIL team (award-winning gigs in libraries outfit).
Expect noise, music, character building and a whole lot of fun!
