These everyday experiences build confidence, independence, communication, problem-solving and so many important life skills — all while they’re having fun and feeling like they’re just “helping”. ❤️

Childhood is about experiencing the world, not just being told about it. 🌎✨

That’s what being a childminder is all about for me. Giving children the freedom to explore, discover and experience the world around them — not just sitting inside doing activities, but getting out there and making memories. 🥰

Climbing, exploring, getting sandy, feeling the wind on their faces and learning through real experiences. Because childhood is meant to be lived. 🌎✨

Those happy smiles can only mean one thing... Nanny is here! ❤️

Nanny lives down south, so we don't get to see family as often as we'd like because of work and life. She always makes the effort to come and visit whenever she can, and every single one of the children gets so excited to see her... just like I do! 🤣

Moments like these mean so much to me. One of the things I love most about my setting is that it really does feel like one big family. The children aren't just minded here – they're loved, included, and surrounded by people who genuinely care about them. Seeing the excitement on their faces says it all. 🥰

We took a drive to see if we could spot any of the planes coming in for the air show. I think we were a day early. 🥰

Today we had lots of fun decorating our own water bottles. The children loved choosing their colours and designs, making each one unique.❤️

we've been busy exploring different shapes through play. The children loved matching the shapes, naming them, and working out where they belonged.
It might look like just a simple game, but they're building so many important skills without even realising it – from problem-solving and fine motor skills to early maths and language.
I love watching those little lightbulb moments when they recognise a shape all by themselves. 🥹💛
