I hope you didn’t think just because I’ve been quiet that the academy has been quiet? 😂😂😂 I can assure you it hasn’t been HOWEVER I have taken the rest of this week off to catch up with some much needed admin!

It has still been full steam ahead in the academy BUT I’m not gona lie, coming back to work so quickly after my holiday was not beneficial and I’m still catching up from being a social butterfly whilst trying to run a business, travel the world, keep 3 kids, 3 dogs and an adult child alive 😂😭

Sorry for the delays in responses but sometimes my brain capacity is just not 100% and I don’t want you to receive incorrect information.

Anyway, THIS WEEK admin will be done and all dates added, no we aren’t sold out for the rest of the year like you all keep asking 😂 new dates should be on by Lunch time tomorrow. Forgive my lack of brain over the past few days - I’m human, and it’s also just little old me behind the scenes 🫶🏼❤️

And honestly?
we agree.

Nobody becomes the best beauty professional in a weekend.

But that’s never been the promise.
The goal of training isn’t to walk out as the finished product.

The goal is to leave with the foundations, confidence, practical skills and ongoing support to build something incredible.

Every successful beauty professional started somewhere, even the ones with 10,12,16 years under their belts.

They weren’t fully booked on day one.
They weren’t perfect on day one.
They practised.
They showed up.
They kept learning.
They gained experience.
They made mistakes - and learnt from them.

When I stop and think about it, that’s pretty special🥺✨

A younger version of me would never have believed opportunities like this were possible. Truthfully, she probably wouldn’t have believed a life like this was possible either.

My word for this year was visibility.

After struggling with low self-confidence for so long, the fact I even put on that dress, got dolled up and showed up feels like a win in itself.

Grateful to have shared the room with so many incredible business owners, and grateful to every single person who’s supported my journey along the way.

Sometimes the achievement isn’t standing on the stage,
Sometimes it’s simply being brave enough to be in the room🫶🏼❤️

16-year-old Ruby came and trained with us in May, and less than 4 weeks later she’s producing work like THIS 😱👏🏼

We are so, SO proud of her.

Ruby has been doing nails since she was just 13 years old too. That level of dedication, commitment and passion at such a young age is exactly what I love to see🫶🏼

She has already built herself a beautiful home-based salon in Cleveleys and also works as a mobile technician, proving that age is never a barrier when you’re willing to put the work in.
