🚨 Regulators are considering allowing up to 500% more pesticide residue on berries.
Berries.
The fruit so many parents buy because we’re told it’s one of the healthiest choices for our children.
And we’re reassured it’s “safe” because it falls within an “acceptable limit.”
But how many “acceptable limits” can one tiny body carry before it becomes too much?
Because it’s never just one exposure.
It’s what’s in the water.
The air.
The plastics.
The fragrances.
The cleaning products.
The artificial colours.
The heavy metals.
Layer upon layer… every single day.
💔 I watched my own son, Liam, struggle.
He had intense meltdowns.
Busy places, loud noises and crowds completely overwhelmed him.
His diet was so restricted he would only eat beige foods and refused anything with sauce.
He developed intense fixations, had little awareness of danger, and often didn’t seem to feel pain the way other children did.
I was told this was simply who he was.
But as his mum, I couldn’t stop asking why.
So I started looking at everything his little body was carrying instead of searching for one thing to blame.
His total toxic load.
We slowly reduced the everyday chemical exposures we could control and focused on supporting his nutrition and overall wellbeing.
Over time, I noticed changes.
✨ Meltdowns became less intense.
✨ He coped better with everyday life.
✨ He became calmer.
✨ He started trying more foods.
✨ He seemed happier and more comfortable in himself.
I’m not saying one berry caused my son’s struggles.
I am saying parents deserve to ask questions about the growing chemical burden our children face every day.
Because it isn’t just one thing.
It’s everything added together.
That’s why I’m passionate about reducing toxic load where we can.
Not from fear.
From love. From awareness. From lived experience.
