Tax free, non-repayable bursaries are available for those who wish to teach in post compulsory education and have specialisms in science, technology, engineering, maths (£31,000), special educational needs (£15,000) and *English (£10,000). We are still taking applicants for all teacher training qualifications for a September 2026 start. This includes:
Certificate in Education (level 5)
Professional Graduate Certificate in Education (level 6)
Post Graduate Certificate in Education (level 7)
These programmes will enable you to qualify as a teacher in the further education and skills sector, including prison education, further and higher education and training providers. This is not appropriate for those wishing to teach in primary or secondary education.
