Newfield School is looking for a reliable, proactive and practical Site Supervisor to join our friendly and dedicated team.

This is an important role in helping to ensure our school remains a safe, welcoming and well-maintained environment for pupils, staff and visitors. You will support the Premises and Compliance Manager with the maintenance of the school building and grounds, health and safety, routine checks, repairs and the smooth day-to-day running of the site.

We are looking for someone who:

✨ has experience in site management, maintenance or a similar practical role
✨ is organised, dependable and able to work independently
✨ takes pride in maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment
✨ can identify and respond effectively to maintenance and health and safety issues
✨ communicates well with colleagues, contractors and visitors
✨ is flexible, practical and solution-focused
✨ understands the importance of working in a specialist school environment

Grade D – SCP 5–8 | Full-time | Permanent

37 hours per week, all year
£25,583–£26,824 per year
£13.26–£13.90 per hour

Working hours are:

🕕 6.00am–2.00pm Monday to Thursday
🕕 6.00am–1.30pm on Fridays

There may occasionally be a requirement to swap shifts within the team, but prior notice will always be given.

Newfield School is looking for an inspirational, thoughtful and experienced SEND practitioner to join our Senior Leadership Team from January 2027.

This is an exciting time to join Newfield as our school continues to develop and expand. We are looking for a leader who is passionate about high-quality specialist education, developing people and creating ambitious futures for children and young people with SEND.

The role will have a particular focus on the quality of education across our 14–19 provision, bringing together curriculum, preparation for adulthood, inclusion, enrichment, personal development and wellbeing.

We are looking for someone who:
✨ understands specialist pedagogy, communication, regulation and relationships
✨ has high expectations for pupils and their futures
✨ enjoys developing and supporting colleagues
✨ believes in coaching, collaboration and shared expertise
