🌍🏆 Celebrating Cultural Diversity Day 🏆🌍

What an incredible day of colour, learning, and community! Inspired by the excitement of the World Cup, our classrooms transformed into a global festival today.

Here is a glimpse of what our amazing children got up to:

A Global Journey: Each class adopted a different country from around the world, diving deep into its unique traditions, music, art, and history.

Celebrating Our Roots: Beyond the World Cup, we took time to reflect on and celebrate the beautiful tapestry of cultures that make up our very own school family. We are so proud to be a community where every background is valued and shared.

A huge thank you to all the staff and children who made our day so vibrant, and to the families who help enrich our school community every single day.

Today, our fantastic Year 2 explorers rolled up their sleeves and got stuck into creating our brand-new Forest School Herb Garden! 🪴

From digging in the soil to learning how plants help our ecosystem, the children put their teamwork and gardening skills to the test. We explored with all of our senses today.

A huge well done to our mini-gardeners for working together so beautifully. We can’t wait to watch our herbs grow (and maybe use them in some mud kitchen recipes soon! 🪵🍲).

☀️ Shining Bright in Yellow for Cystic Fibrosis Awareness! ☀️

Today, our school community came together in a vibrant wave of yellow to support Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Day.

This cause is incredibly close to our hearts, as one of our own pupils has a relative living with this condition. We were absolutely thrilled to dedicate the day to raising awareness and showing our support.

The pupil's Grandma has been busy hand-making beautiful yellow scrunchies to raise money. Thanks to her incredible hard work, she raised a phenomenal £200 for the charity! 👏

🛠️ FUTURE ENGINEERS IN THE MAKING! 🚀

Huge congratulations to our fantastic Year 4 and Year 5 children, who recently took part in the Primary Engineer competition! We are so incredibly proud of how hard they worked. We might just have the next great inventor right here in our classrooms! 💡✨

Take a look at the highlights from this week! We were absolutely delighted to welcome so many parents, carers, and family members into school for our Exhibition Morning too.

Our classrooms were buzzing with excitement as the children proudly showcased all the fantastic learning they have achieved throughout this half term.

"The best part of learning is sharing it with the people we love." A huge thank you to everyone who joined us. Your continuous support means the world to our children and staff, and the children were absolutely thrilled to be the teachers for the morning!

We are incredibly proud of our wonderful Year 1 class, who led our school worship this morning! 🌟

The children spoke, acted, and sang beautifully all about the value of friendship—reminding us how important it is to be kind, supportive, and loving friends to one another every single day.

To help us reflect on this, Year 1 shared the beautiful song 'Every Step'. It’s a wonderful reminder that just as we walk alongside our friends, God is always walking right beside us, guiding us through the happy times and holding our hands through the difficult ones. 👣❤️

A huge thank you to all the parents and carers who joined us, and well done to Year 1 for bringing so much joy and thoughtful reflection to our morning! 👏👏

Today is a truly monumental day as we celebrate Sir David Attenborough’s 100th Birthday. There is no one who has done more to inspire us to cherish and protect our "Wonderful World," and at Cidari Multi Academy Trust, we are taking his message to heart.

To mark this historic milestone and follow up on our recent Earth Day celebrations, our family of schools have come together to share our collective journey toward a greener future. 💚

We had a great day in Year 5 when Accrington Stanley players Seamus Conneely and Connor O'Brien came to visit. ⚽️

They answered some fabulous questions from the children, had their photos taken and signed autographs too. A very inspiring and enjoyable afternoon! Thank you to Accrington Stanley Community Trust

It’s been another incredibly busy and productive week across school!

This week, we’ve seen children mastering new concepts and taking real pride in their presentation. We've seen children exploring everything from digital sounds to scientific discoveries and artistic techniques. 🎨✍️

We also took our learning outdoors for some fresh air and teamwork in PE, and spent time reflecting on the importance of our planet during our Earth Day celebrations. 🌍
