We have enjoyed taking part in the Bishop's Harvest Appeal, creating our own assault courses to complete in groups. We will be thinking about Reverend Nathaniel tomorrow as he completes his assault course to help raise vital funds for the Diocese of Liwolo. Thank you to our school family for their generosity in monetary donations for the Bishop's Appeal and for the gifts of food for the local foodbank.

A big thank you to our wonderful Miss Lee for another fantastic themed lunch! 🚀
The hall looked amazing, and the children really enjoyed the space-themed decorations and treats. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into making lunchtime extra special for everyone.

🗳️ SCHOOL COUNCIL ELECTIONS 🗳️
We have been taking part in our School Council elections this week!

The children have been learning about democracy, voting and having their voices heard, with everyone having the opportunity to cast their vote for the children they would like to represent them on our School Council.

Our very own ballot box was put to good use, with pupils carefully posting their votes and taking part in the election process just like grown-up voters!

We are incredibly proud of all the children who put themselves forward and of everyone who took part. We can't wait to see what our new School Council representatives achieve and hear their ideas for making our school an even better place.
Every vote counts. Every voice matters.

Foxes class had a great time in RE, putting their forest school skills to the test to make sukkah shelters as they were learning about the Jewish festival of Sukkot.
We love learning outside!

DINOSAURS HAVE ARRIVED AT BALDERSTONE!🦖
We’ve had some very special visitors at Balderstone this week… DINOSAURS!
The children have been having an amazing time meeting and playing games with Jam the T-Rex 🦖, as well as getting up close to some very cute baby dinosaurs!
But watch out…
Rodger the Pterodactyl has been spotted flying around Balderstone and he’ll be soaring around our school for the rest of the week!
There’s been lots of excitement, roaring, dinosaur adventures and plenty of smiles! We wonder what our prehistoric visitors will get up to next… Teach Rex
