Our awards night is one of our favourite nights of the year, giving us a chance to highlight the achievements your children have made this year!

A great week for Black Belt Gradings. Congratulations to all, but especially our new Blackburn dan grades - Albert with his cadet black belt, Faaris getting a distinction 1st dan, then Ellis & Sam with their 2nd dan award. Years of hard work goes into every grading, and it was so satisfying to see it all come together on the day. Superb effort 🥋

It’s official. We hold a WORLD RECORD.
It’s now been confirmed that on 19th April this year students from Masters of Martial Arts Blackburn set a new World Record by completing an amazing 8,025 throws.
Each participant will receive a personal certificate marking their participation this week and we’ve a lovely club certificate that will now go on display.
We also want to recognise Salahudeen who completed 512 throws, Muhammad Isa who was thrown 504 times, and Sensei Peter Cheshire who completed 181 throws - no mean feat for a man aged 70.
