Stagecoach Performing Arts Blackburn

Stagecoach Performing Arts Blackburn Providing excellent part-time performing arts training for children aged 4 - 18 years in Blackburn and surrounding areas.

A warm welcome from Stagecoach Performing Arts School Blackburn! Established in 2004, we offer a nurturing, caring environment for students to learn and develop their performing skills whilst gaining confidence and making new friends. Our excellent team of highly experienced teachers offer exciting, fun lessons as well as preparing the students for shows and performances. We are very lucky to run our school in the theatre, King George's Hall - such a grand building located in Blackburn town centre. With over 700 theatre schools and more than 40,000 students worldwide, Stagecoach is the UK's largest network of part time performing arts schools for children. Since our inception in 1988, our singing, acting and dancing classes have helped to build the confidence of many thousands of children, as well as providing a springboard for some of the country's leading young performers. Every student participates in all three performing arts disciplines - drama classes, dance classes and singing classes - helping to develop confidence, physical awareness, communication and articulation - as well as being educational and lots of fun! In addition, opportunities exist for students to be offered professional work in film, theatre and modelling by the Stagecoach Agency.

⭐️ HARRIET CAPLAN-DEAN - PRO’S FROM THE SHOWS WORKSHOP ⭐️

30 of our Senior students had an incredible few hours on Sunday with our Queen, Harriet Caplan-Dean! 👑🖤

We started with a brilliant Q&A, where Harriet shared what life is really like working professionally in musical theatre. She’s currently appearing in High School Musical as part of the ensemble and as Dance Captain, having previously appeared in Six💜, &Juliet🩷, and so our students loved hearing about her experiences and having the chance to ask their questions !

Then it was time to get to work! We learnt some incredible choreography, integrating singing and performance skills at top speed too!

Such an inspiring few hours with someone our students know, love and look up to.

Thank you, Harriet ⭐️
