Today the children have been painting the flags which represents England and understanding the British Values as part of the queens Jubilee week.

This week the children have been exploring different types of insects as they have been finding a range of insects in the garden. Today they have been focusing on butterflies and have been participating in lots of activities such as decorating butterflies, cutting the outline of butterflies, and tracing around patterns on the butterfly to improve fine motor and hand eye coordination skills.

Today the children were creating their own bees, exploring with different materials such as tissue paper, glue and crayons. We also sounded the sound of the bee which was 'Buzz'......

Today the children have been making their own lady birds as they have previously been talking about lady birds as it is part of the in the moment planning. This has allowed the children explore different insects when they have been playing outside.

Today the children took part in an Easter egg hunt, they really enjoyed exploring the classroom to find their hidden chocolate eggs. They searched under and inside their favourite toys -Happy Easter holidays! š„
