I’ve been sent a beautiful picture of a sunflower that we planted from seed and the children took them home to look after.
A beautiful colour, i look forward to seeing others and hopefully the ones in my garden will flower soon.

Today we had a play day and picked our first ever cucumber the children enjoyed tasting it, we have lots more growing so going to be more ready in time for the children to enjoy in September.

The plants the children grew from seeds are in full bloom and looking so pretty.
The lettuces are delicious and cucumber plants are growing nicely.
Sunflowers are tall.

What a lovely last week of term with my amazing children, Monday party day and Thursday teddy bears picnic.
Lots of fun, games including a duck and alphabet bet hunt and lots of cuddles.
Thankyou to all my amazing parents and children love you all.
Have the best holiday ever.
Good luck to the children starting school and I look forward to seeing my other children in September.

The end of an era… that’s two of my amazing children moving on to the next step in their school journey.
And what a lovely message from one of my parents whose son I’ve have since he was four weeks old.
The kind words and special gifts mean the world to me. I am so grateful for the wonderful children and their families who make my job the best in the world.

☀️ What a wonderful, sun-filled week.
Physical Development (Gross Motor Skills)
Our trip to the park was packed with lots of energy where the children built up their strength by running, climbing, and swinging and chasing me around the park going giggling.
The week continued with outside play riding bikes and kicking balls.
Understanding the World & Expressive Arts.
The sunny weather gave us the perfect chance for child-led exploration with the water supply. Without any interference, the children freely experimented with water and sand making models transporting it around the garden with play diggers and pots.
They had a great time having a water fight and splashing in the puddles all whilst squealing with laughter.

They made pretend ice creams and ice lollies, and enjoyed lots of creative chalking.
Personal, Social and Emotional Development
By being allowed to explore completely in their own time and pace, the children demonstrated fantastic independent thinking, problem-solving skills, and a pure joy for learning through active discovery.
Communication and language.
Lots of stories and singing to cool off.
I can’t believe we have one more week left before the end of term next week party time.
