A little insight into the week ππ
Our lower babies are exploring all things sensory and colour as they learn about chicks and ducks π₯π¦
Some of our babies have been eager to pull themselves up to stand so this bright, eye catching table will be a perfect way to support this and their physical development!
They have also enjoyed developing their physical development by climbing so we have saved a few large boxes to support their interest of climbing, encouraging them to climb in and out. A simple activity which keeps children engaged for a period of time βΊοΈ
The lower baby team will also be supporting your little ones with forming secure attachments. This will help your little ones to feel safe, secure and give them all the reassurance they need whilst being at nursery. Special bonds that put a smile on all our faces π
In one of our 2-3 rooms, we are building on communication and language and curiosity as we head into our very own sensory experience! The children will be eager to talk about what they can see, how things work and develop their physical skills as they make marks and explore different resources. We have lots of visuals and key words up on display to support your children in making marks and even starting to begin letter recognition!
Here are a few ways in which your children will develop different areas of learning:
π - Helps support strong communication and language (Asking questions, learning new words, building conversations with peers)
π - Showing curiosity in the world around them
π - Finding new ways to explore toys and resources
π - Builds on fine and gross motor skills
π- Develops literacy skills
π - Begin developing letter and number recognition
Happy Monday everybody ππj
