Yesterday, 1 Jeffers celebrated the end of an amazing school year with some water fun... and what a day it was! 💦☀️

There were smiles, laughter, soaked clothes, and memories that I know the children will remember for a long time. It was the perfect way to celebrate all of their hard work, growth and achievements this year.

All the children in year 2 went on a trip to Beacon Fell. They learnt about minibeasts and their habitats. We looked for minibeasts in the woods and collected them to view them under a magnifying glass. We also used natural materials to make sculptures. We had a GREAT time!!

We have had our final Celebration Assembly of the school year! It was a lovely whole school celebration as we invited Reception to join the KS1 children.

We celebrated superstars from each class this morning, and also our amazing Y2 children who are leaving us to go to the Junior school. They performed one of their graduation songs for the rest of school and I'm sure some of the teachers had a tear in their eye.

Well done to everyone - you have all been superstars this year!

🎉2D - Mustafa, for excellent work in fractions.
🎉2M - Adam, for his enthusiasm in playing the glockenspiel, and being able to play a short tune from memory.
