Today, our little ones enjoyed celebrating England’s World Cup game! The children had lots of fun dressing in red and white, making flags, taking part in football-themed activities, and showing their team spirit.

We love creating opportunities for children to learn about teamwork, cheering each other on, and celebrating special events from around the world.

At our preschool, school readiness is about so much more than learning letters and numbers. We help children build the confidence, independence, and social skills they need to thrive in their next adventure.

Through play-based learning, children develop communication skills, learn to make friends, follow routines, solve problems, and become curious, confident learners. From putting on their own coat to sharing ideas in group activities, every day is an opportunity to grow.

We work closely with families to ensure each child is supported, celebrated, and prepared for a smooth transition to school.

Last week Early Learners and Pre school enjoyed taking part in rugby tots session hoasted by the try it company🏉

The children enjoyed warming up by walking like different animals🐘

The children took part in various games like :
- capture the flag from our teachers, the children loved trying to catch the teachers🧑‍🏫
-capture the flag from the children, the children made it hard for the teachers to catch them🧒
-pick up all the cones as fast as we can🏃

We then practiced throwing the rugby ball into tyres, up high and too our friends🥰

Here is some of our set ups across each room. Each set up is based around events we may have on for the day, child’s interests and new experiences. Children can explore and learn using their senses, extending language and new skills🥰

We had a special visit from a bearded dragon! 🐉

The children had a visit from Vikkis bearded dragon called Cako. The children learnt about what it eats and even watched it eat a locus! Which was fun!😊
Some of the children were brave enough to stroke Cako and spoke about how it felt using words like “rough, spikey, bumpy, soft”.
