We are an Ofsted regulated nursery and primary school. We deliver an EYFS and national curriculum education, as well as the basic understanding of Islam.
Learning to us, at Darul Madinah means – allowing each individual an opportunity to varied experiences, skills and creativity. Enabling social, emotional development and confidence through enjoyable, well-designed methods of learning to suit the individual’s needs. In a safe environment where a child and teacher can both lead learning experiences, recognizing different capabilities and understanding. Keeping equality and a positive attitude at the forefront.

At Dar ul Madinah we believe our curriculum should enable all young people to; enjoy learning, allowing progress and achievements to a higher standard. Become confident able individuals who are able to go on and live safe, healthy and fulfilling lives, making a positive contribution to society.

Salaam,

As you are no doubt aware, all children will return to school on Monday 8th March. The Government's 'roadmap' is very clear and has prioritised children's attendance at school and face-to-face learning.
We look forward to the return of our whole school family on 8th March.
Whilst we are all looking forward to the time when all of the Covid measures are lifted, we are not there yet. This is just a first step towards it. Please note that school's risk assessment and Covid measure will not change: children still in class bubbles, additional cleaning, emphasis on the following 'hands, space, face' etc.
For PE, children will come into school in their PE kit on the relevant scheduled day.
When you are dropping your child off please ensure you maintain 2m distance and wearing a face mask.
We would like to thank all of you who have supported your children's learning at home during these difficult times. We will إن شاء الله see you all soon.
Any questions or queries please contact the school.

The boys and girls learned all about germs and what we can do to help reduce germs around us. They also learnt the correct method of hand washing. Please encourage your child to continue practicing good hand hygiene at home. Allah willing we will all be back to school and nursery very soon.

This morning our Nursery children have made beautiful bookmarks for world book day. Books are held with great reverence in Islam, our Madani children will be using these book marks at home to increase their knowledge.

Welcome to Darul Madinah Blackburn.
This morning the pre-school children have been rather busy practicing letter formation in the flour trays. As well as helping them on their journey to school, the boys and girls love getting their hands messy in the flour. Don’t forget to ask your children what letter sounds they learnt today

Our Nursery children are having so much fun discovering our winter wonderland. If we are lucky we may get some snow very soon!

In Chinese and other East Asian and Southeast Asian societies, a decorative envelope gift is given during holidays or special occasions

The children in the rainbow class have put together envelopes of their own and gifted them to their favourite members of staff containing a little note to show their appreciation.
