Year 4 have had a very busy start to the year and are excited to share some pictures with you.
On Friday 11th September Year 4 logged onto a live streaming of Julia Donaldson reading her new book Gruffalo Granny. It was thanks to the British Library who arranged the whole thing. It is a fab new story and we really enjoyed listening to her. Next, we were treated to the illustrator of all her books Axel Scheffler showing us how to draw the Gruffalo, he made it look very easy.

We started our Geography topic on Europe by having a WOW day where we ‘flew’ to Greece, Spain and Germany.
Ask us about the different foods we tried.

Miss Allen had us flamenco dancing, Mrs Rowley taught us some facts about Greece and Mrs Lee had us building the Brandenberg Gate.

In our science topic we are learning all about teeth, how to keep them healthy and how they help digestion. First we looked carefully at our own teeth and recreated our bottom jaw using plasticine. Some of them looked very realistic and it was funny to see who had gaps and teeth missing.

We cant wait to show you our digestion experiment in a few weeks.
