🏡💙 Home visits are officially underway! 💙🏡

One of our favourite parts of the Reception transition has finally arrived!

Over the next few weeks, Miss Harrison (Reception Teacher), Mrs Furness (Headteacher) and Mrs Drugan (Deputy Headteacher) will be visiting all of our wonderful new Reception children and their families. These visits give us the opportunity to get to know each child in the place they feel happiest – their home.

Every detail of our home visit pack has been carefully planned with love, from our personalised welcome cards and teacher introduction cards to the wonderful resource from , the “All About Me” booklet, helping us learn all about each child’s personality, interests and the things that make them unique before September arrives.

We truly believe that building strong relationships starts long before the first day of school. By taking the time to visit every family, answer questions and create familiar faces, we hope every child feels happy, confident and excited to begin their Belthorn Academy adventure.

Here’s to lots of smiles, new friendships and making special memories together. We can’t wait to meet all of our new Reception families this week! 💙
