B&FC student Cordelia achieves top result and received a distinction in her T Level Cyber Security and Networking course at Blackpool and The Fylde College.

Cordelia earned one of the top grades in Cyber Security and Networking, which is the equivalent of three As at A Level.

She spent time at an international employer during the course, spending 315 hours working across different departments.

Speaking of her results, Cordelia said: “I feel unbelievable. I chose T Levels because I am a visual learner and it’s been a whirlwind throughout."

“I feel like all of the hard work has paid off. I got to work at an incredible place and have been supported throughout, which allowed me to grow and set me up for employment.”

Cordelia’s mum, Claire, encouraged her daughter to choose a T Level as it suited her learning requirements.

Claire said: “As a parent you normally push for A-Levels, but it wouldn’t have suited her – she would have given up. Having T-Levels here at Blackpool as an option, the style of course, is exactly what she needed, and she has done incredibly well.”

We are thrilled to celebrate Leome, one of our apprentices from Vodafone has been shortlisted for the Multicultural Apprenticeship Awards in the Digital and Technology category! 🎉

Leome's journey is a testament to his passion for technology and commitment to lifelong learning. After discovering an apprenticeship opportunity at Vodafone, he embarked on a path that perfectly aligns with his love for tech and problem-solving. His journey began with a profound reflection on his career aspirations, and he chose an apprenticeship to gain practical experience while studying for a degree, without incurring significant debt.

During his apprenticeship, Leome has achieved remarkable milestones, including leading a disaster recovery and business continuity plan and enhancing operational support models at Vodafone. His proactive approach has improved team collaboration and stakeholder engagement, showcasing his leadership and innovative thinking.

Beyond his professional achievements, Leome is an active community member. He continues to coach and play basketball and recently obtained his refereeing qualification for national league games. He also participated in a charity gaming marathon, raising funds for a colleague.

Balancing fatherhood with his professional commitments, Leome has shown incredible dedication and resilience. He is on track to complete his BSc with First Class Honours and earn his CEH Master and CCNA certifications by July 2024.

Leome embodies the qualities of a true leader and innovator. His journey serves as an inspiration to all, and we are immensely proud of his achievements. Congratulations, Leome! 🎊
