Cairellot Learning Centre We offer Modern Apprenticeships, training and qualifications in Early Learning & Childcare, Sport Coaching, and Learning & Development.

https://shorturl.at/axgsJ Cairellot Learning Centre was established over 20 years ago to offer quality training and Qualifications to those working within the Early Learning and Childcare and Out of School care sectors. We work with various Local authorities, Private and Partnership Nurseries, Childminders, Support workers, Childcare practitioners and Lead Practitioners. As a team of Qualified Childcare and Lead Practitioners ourselves with our own large nursery and Out of School Care, we understand the importance of gaining quality qualifications that meet the sector requirements as well as ensuring that you have the skills and knowledge to support your natural pedagogical approach and practices with children.

Since beginning her Modern Apprenticeship with Cairellot, Zoe has made an outstanding impression through her dedication, professionalism and genuine passion for Early Learning and Childcare. She consistently goes above and beyond in everything she does, embracing every opportunity to learn, develop and make a positive difference to the children in her care.

Zoe’s enthusiasm for learning is truly inspiring. She actively seeks opportunities to expand her knowledge, engages fully in training and reflective practice, and continually applies new skills and understanding within her role. Her commitment to personal and professional growth has seen her make exceptional progress throughout her apprenticeship.

What truly sets Zoe apart is the positive impact she has on those around her. We’re incredibly proud to celebrate Julie-Ann on becoming a finalist for the Nursery Chef of the Year Award. 🤩

Julie-Ann has been nourishing Cairellot children since 2009, bringing together exceptional culinary skill, unwavering care and a genuine passion for supporting children’s health and wellbeing. Known for her warm personality and infectious enthusiasm, she creates positive mealtime experiences that children remember long after they leave our nursery.

Preparing fresh meals daily for up to 187 children, while carefully managing individual dietary, medical, allergy and cultural requirements, Julie-Ann’s commitment to getting it right for every child is remarkable. Her extensive knowledge of nutrition, food safety and allergen management ensures that every child can enjoy safe, nutritious and inclusive mealtimes.

Julie-Ann’s impact extends far beyond the kitchen. She helps children develop healthy relationships with food, encourages independence and curiosity through cooking experiences, and works closely with families and colleagues to support children’s individual needs. From home-baked favourites and freshly prepared meals to menu planning guided by best practice and children’s voices, she continually goes above and beyond to provide the very best for every child.

Her dedication, professionalism and genuine care have earned the admiration of children, families and colleagues alike. Whether she’s adapting meals, supporting complex dietary needs, sharing her knowledge with others or creating magical food experiences that children talk about at home, Julie-Ann’s passion shines through in everything she does.

With our own SQA Learning Centre, staff have access to qualifications and professional development opportunities throughout their careers. From Modern Apprenticeships and SVQs to leadership qualifications, coaching opportunities and specialist training, we create pathways that support individual ambitions while strengthening the quality of care and learning across the nursery. Our Annual Training Plan, Responsive Training Calendar, Summer Sessions and Friday Mentor Sessions ensure learning remains relevant, accessible and engaging for every member of the team.

Through authentic resources, natural materials, cosy spaces and responsive planning, children are empowered to explore, investigate and shape their own learning journeys every day.

From floorbooks that capture genuine curiosities to environments that evolve alongside the children, our spaces encourage independence, creativity and a true sense of belonging. Children's artwork, photographs and family stories are proudly displayed throughout the nursery, ensuring every child knows their voice matters and their experiences are valued.

Our dedicated team continually reflects on and develops practice to create meaningful learning opportunities.
