📚🔢 **Learning together at Sycamore!** 🌱

Louise from Oak Room and I have recently started a 12-month Maths Champion course. At Sycamore, we believe learning and development is for everyone- our children and our team! 💛

We’ve already been putting our new learning into practice, creating more exciting maths opportunities throughout the nursery, including our garden. The children have loved exploring our new number resources through counting, sorting, water play and lots of outdoor adventures! 🌈🔢

Our garden continues to be a big focus this year, and we’ve been so pleased with all the lovely comments. We’re not finished yet… watch this space! 👀😊

Indoors, the children have also been busy with imaginative play, creative activities and hands-on challenges, learning new skills while having lots of fun! 🎨✨

As we head into May, here are a few snapshots from April ☘️🐢🐦😎🪺☀️

Our Seedlings have been busy building their physical skills- learning to climbing safely, strengthening their core, and growing in confidence.

In the Acorn garden, our beautiful wisteria is thriving in its second year, alongside a new bug hotel 🐛🐌🐞🕸🪱.

And our beloved Tortoise Bob has been soaking up the sunshine with the children and team- see him taking a little rest among the daisies. Our Oak children are very keen helpers when it comes to looking after Bob 🐢☘️❤️.

Wow, what a fantastic week at Sycamore! 🌟

It was lovely celebrating our wonderful families for Mothering Sunday and seeing so many of you at our Stay and Play sessions this week. 💗💗👨‍👩‍👦👨‍👩‍👧‍👧👨‍👦👩‍👦

We were also delighted to share our recent Ofsted report published on Friday, just in time for our Open Day today! It was great meeting new families and show casing all the wonderful things we do to support the care and development of our children. Thank you to all the families that visited us this morning, we hope you enjoyed your tour and hope to see you again soon ✨️✨️✨️☺️👍.
