Last week, Year Three presented a fantastic assembly inspired by the Vikings and Nordic gods. After lots of hard work learning lines and songs, the children captivated the audience with their confident delivery and enthusiastic performance.

On Friday, our U11 hockey team took part in the ISA Hockey Tournament. Despite the hot conditions, the team showed fantastic teamwork and determination throughout the day and their efforts paid off as they went on to win the Bowl competition.

What a fantastic achievement to end the term on.

🐝 Meet the Queen Bee 🐝

Today is World Bee Day and we are lucky to have our very own colony of bees. Our pupils enjoy learning about life inside the hive.

Did you know? During the busiest time of year, a queen bee can lay up to 2,000 eggs in a single day.

Bees play an important role in helping flowers bloom and food grow. Having our own bees gives children a wonderful opportunity to learn about nature, responsibility, and the environment firsthand.

As part of Mental Health Week, our Reception children enjoyed a wonderful Wellbeing Wednesday yesterday. Parents joined us for a lovely calm and relaxing start to the day, taking part in deep breathing and mindfulness activities together.

We have also been learning about ways to keep ourselves healthy, including the importance of eating a balanced and nutritious diet.

It has been a fantastic week of promoting wellbeing, healthy habits and positive mental health from an early age.
