Think about the last time YOU tried something new.

A gym class. A yoga session. A spin class with intimidating instructors and everyone else seeming to know the routine.

Your child is feeling exactly what you felt but they don't know how to handle those emotions just yet.

And just like you, they just need a little time.

After 10 years of teaching, I can tell you, the children who watch quietly in week one are often the ones dancing at the front by week four.

Trust the process and the journey. Trust your child. 💗✨

No shame. No dignity. Just full commitment to the bit. 😂

And it works every time.

Because here's the thing about children.

Some of them will go absolutely all in from day one.

Pulling faces, throwing shapes, giving you everything they've got, including the sass 😂✨

And some of them will watch. Quietly. Shyly. Taking it all in from the sidelines.

And both of those children are doing it exactly right.

Because confidence doesn't look the same on every child.

For some it's the one at the front making everyone laugh.
For others it's the tiny smile they give when they think nobody's watching.

And our job the job we genuinely love is to meet every single one of them exactly where they are.

Even if that means pulling ridiculous faces in front of a room full of toddlers. 😂

You'll know the moment when it happens.

Maybe it's week two.
Maybe it's week eight.

But there will be a moment where you look at your child, i mean really look at them and think...

There they are.

There's the confidence I always knew was in there.

There's my child.
Doing the thing. Loving the thing.

Not clinging to my leg anymore.
Not watching from the side.
Just... there. In it. Fully.

That moment is why we do this.
