Little Hallingbury Playgroup would love you to join us for our final celebration tomorrow Sunday 14th July from 11.30 a.m. Come along with a picnic or pop in for tea and cakes and share your memories with us. It would be lovely to see children and families both past and present. There will be an ice cream van at 2 p.m.

After 50 wonderful years Little Hallingbury Playgroup has made the difficult decision to close. We would love you to join us for a final celebration on Sunday 14th July from 11.30 a.m. You can come along with a picnic or pop in for tea and cakes and share your memories with us. It would be lovely to see children and families both past and present. Please spread the word.

Next week at the Little Hallingbury Playgroup we will be hosting a coffee morning along with a raffle draw for some exciting prizes! If you or anyone on your Christmas list is a football fan, you can buy tickets to win a Real Madrid home shirt signed by James Rodriguez or a 2018 World Cup Final football. Tickets for this raffle will cost £3.00 each, or 4 tickets for £10.00. This raffle will run alongside our normal raffle, with a variety of prizes, tickets for this raffle cost £1 for a strip of 5.

To celebrate our harvest theme we recreated a farmer’s field where we tilled the soil, spread the seeds and cut the crop with a variety of tools and farm vehicles. We had a second tray with a farmyard, vehicle’s and animals and we harvested hay and straw. We had local sourced food for snack and then we tasted foraged fruits and chutneys on breadsticks and crackers. Last week we did some arts and crafts and did some hand print apple trees and apple printing. The children had fun playing with the play dough.
