All Saints Primary School & Nursery

Hooray! Some sunshine at last for our green fingered gardeners. A lovely day to be in the garden.

The whole school smelt beautiful after gardening clubs lunchtime antics today. Too wet for the garden!

A very wet lunch-time prevented us from going into the All Saints Primary School & Nursery garden, so we took shelter to make lavender bags from last summer's cuttings. We have left the hall smelling wonderful!

A soggy day in the garden but still hard work took place at Gardening club this week.

It was far too wet for outside gardening today at All Saints Primary School & Nursery so we decorated plant pots in the covered classroom. These will make a re-appearance in a couple of weeks, to be filled with flowers and sent home.

Wow! What a day! Outdoor Learning Day has been a fantastic success, with all year groups planting up either sunflower seeds or strawberry plants and lots of brilliant learning outside of the classroom. Thank you our parents who attended the Reading Cafe this morning and for those of you who donated plants. Another thank you goes to Well Bean Gardening for coming along and supporting us and teaching the children the skills needed to pot up plants correctly.

We are so excited about our Outdoor Learning Day tomorrow and it sounds like Well Bean Gardening is too! We are starting our day with a Reading Cafe! We hope to see lots of parents there!

The gardeners at All Saints Primary School & Nursery were full of beans this lunch-time as they planted their Runners. They decided that they needed to hydrate them to keep them running up the pyramid, so gave everything a good watering, before sowing Red Orach seeds.
